A keratin treatment adds a layer of keratin, the hair’s own protein, to the strand. It fills the uneven spots in the strand, which reduces frizz and adds shine without changing the hair’s shape.
What the treatment does
- Reduces frizz and makes hair easier to style.
- Adds shine and a softer feel.
- Works on naturally curly and straight hair.
- The treatment Rodika uses is formaldehyde-free.
How it works
The hair is washed and the keratin product is worked in section by section. The hair is then dried and finished with heat so the product bonds to the strand. The full treatment at Rodika takes about 3.5 hours and starts at 4,200 kr.
How long does it last?
The result usually lasts two to four months depending on your hair quality and how often you wash it. A sulphate-free shampoo extends the effect.
After the treatment
- Wait about two to three days before washing.
- Use a sulphate-free shampoo.
- Avoid tight updos for the first few days.
The keratin treatment is formaldehyde-free and suits you if you want smoother, shinier hair without permanently changing its natural structure.
